Shalom,
Today is Monday and you know what that means...the school work week begins. I normally despise Mondays but after our break I feel wonderful.
Last week was our break and it was much needed. We played, slept late, watched T.V. and just relaxed out in the sun. We spent our whole week in rest, laughter, and fun. I spent the non-Shabbat portion of my weekend lesson planning and creating forms and worksheets for my kiddos. Sunday we went to our local synagogue for our Chanukah play rehearsal. My kiddos are super excited to be apart of that. This Monday we were ready to start our day relaxed and refreshed and ready to hit the ground running. I implemented a few needed changes to our schedule and FINALLY got our literature studies together. I have been receiving packages all week long from Amazon and Thrift Books with our African American literature and every time I think I have found my favorite book I open another and fall in love again!
I have a few freebies coming along with pictures of our homeschool room and book reviews from our literature lists! Looking forward to sharing with you all!!
Many Blessings,
T
